Trilogy Audio Systems is one of the very few British owned, British built manufacturers of high performance audio components—extolling the virtues of both engineering and musical reproduction.
Trilogy is the brain child of, and synonymous with, Nic Poulson—Trilogy Founder & Principal Designer of the brand’s product line. Nic began his career in broadcast engineering, training with the BBC in the 1980s. The BBC’s legendary high standards made a deep impression on him. It was there that Nic learned that the path to achieving true quality is to strive for excellence in every conceivable aspect of what one does, while accepting absolutely nothing less. He went on to found Trilogy in 1990, quickly earning a reputation for producing audio engineering designs—and in turn, products—that reflect his core values of performance, reliability, pride of ownership and value for money.
Together, Nic Poulson and his ex-BBC Colleague Simon Dart comprise the Trilogy Audio Systems Core Design Team. ‘Notable quotes by celebrated American architect Louis Sullivan and the ancient Greek philosopher Plato are words to live and work by—literally—for Nic and Simon.
